This quiet moonlight scene was the 2001 Plow & Hearth Christmas
cover and print.  The painting is a composite scene created from
various locations along the Piedmont of central Virginia.  The Peaks
of Otter which are around 4,000 feet in elevation are the two large
ridges in the background.
