| Blue-Winged Teal are among my favorites in the marshes of south Louisiana. They are not only beautiful birds, but also are amazing in their magratory habits. They arrive in Louisiana in mid August and stay until early May, then fly back to northern Canada to breed, and take off again for LA in August. Many of them cross the Gulf of Mexico and continue down into South America to spend the winter. | |||||||||||||||||
