| This is one of my early paintings from the late 70's. I was just starting to paint landscape backgrounds, and this scene was on the outskirts of Baton Rouge about 5 miles from my home. I set up in the field with cardboard cut-out dove decoys and photographed the doves as they came in to feed in the corn stubble. |
